In Ten Words...
About Me-- Welcome to my user page! I was a member on the old Fig hunter website, with the same username. I had the account # 4121. I love debating about scientific or artistic topics in the forums.
-- I love Minecraft. I started playing it around November of 2011, or something. I recently got tired of it, though, so I started playing MARDEK again. :D Going after the Annihilators now...
-- I've beaten all of the games that Pseudolonewolf has released, except for the ones that he has hidden from us... (DON'T tell me where the original Fighunter game is please!1!! *wink wink*)
-- After coming to this site when I was... What, fourteen years old?... I started getting interested in pixel art. Head over to my site (∞ LINK ∞ to see some of the stuff I've created with another old Fig Hunter member, Scorchfrost.
However, we haven't been talking for the last few months due to "school work," or something.
-- For Christmas of 2011, I got a music making program called Mixcraft 5. I've made two original compositions, and a plethora of other people's songs... I was thinking that once I get a good understanding of how the program works, and it becomes an easy tool for me, I will re-orchestrate Pseudolonewolf's music. I won't ever sell any of it, but I'll see what happens when I really get into it. If you don't know what re-orchestration really entails, look at ∞ LINK ∞ to see how they did it for Zelda music. I won't be having any live singers or anything, but yeah! My main goal for (eventually) re-doing Pseudo's music will be to make it sound like it was done with real instruments rather than the synth-type midi instruments he often uses, not to change to the way I think it should have been arranged (although I do have qualms about the underlying flute part in the "Grand Boss" battle music...)
-- AHHHHHH LSDJ!!! ∞ LINK ∞ I've discovered a great way to make chiptune-style music utilizing Gameboy emulators and ROM files. Super exciting! It's a music tracking program, so yeah, check it out!
-- I do indeed have Asperger's syndrome, And was diagnosed around August 2010. UPDATE 2K14: apparently I was never technically "diagnosed," and also never had any prescriptions for this alleged condition. Maybe it's just how I am; I'll just leave it at that. Some things that I've noticed about it, though, is that I generally naturally gravitate towards and fixate on things that involve squares, or cubes. Let me elaborate; I used to be obsessed with Legos, back before I knew that I had AS. I've been fixated on other things, too, such as 2D video games like PLW's and anything on the snes and earlier, Minecraft, and pixel art. I've also had fixations on non-blocky things, too, mainly music making, English language (vocab, grammar, word history/roots, etc.), reading, and drawing. I used to be obsessed with Manga, actually, but that's pretty much worn off now. AS has affected my ability to socialize with people, and through the therapy that I've had in the past two years (as of August 2012), I've significantly improved my body language skills, verbal communication skills, and personal space skills. I'm still working on empathy and personal motivation, but I am glad to have gotten so far!
