So I was contemplating about creating an account there, but I am a bit uncertain about which username to have over there.
Options include my current name, another name, and a name that I use for RP(G) chars lately. Also included an option for those with better ideas.

Herpaderp, forgot to add an option; Amelyssan.

Discuss.

- Command Prompt improvements like copy/paste shortcuts being possible.

Barely useful if you ask me, I'd much rather have an autocomplete fuction like in linux.

- More than one active window to scroll, so you can scroll one Window, mouse over another and scroll it without clicking it to make it active.

Belongs in the can't tell part if you ask me.

- The Task Manager (from Windows 8) includes CPU, Memory, Disk, and Internet usage all in one tab. Has a Startup tab to remove enable/disable startup programs.

Not sure how useful the disc/internet usage is on the cpu/memory tab. Startup tab is somewhat useful I suppose.

- More Windows snapping options, e.g. snapping 4 windows, 1 in each corner.

Anyone seriously using that window snapping bullsmeg?

Also, the win8 UI and windows store are mostly bad if you ask me.
The internet/bing search is also mostly bad, imo, because if anyone wants to search something on the internet they can open a frikking decent browser instead. Additionally, those live tiles can be shoved up its inventor's rectum.

Okay, so as many of us will have noticed, windows 10 is lurking around the corner, and many windows 7/8 PCs will have had a windows 10 update notified installed along with the usual microsoft updates.

What does this mean? For starters, it is an executable program (.exe file) that boots on startup. It will give you a little notifier icon bottom-right near your timebox, and put a spam advert on your windows update screen.

Also, because it is an exe file that boots on startup on tons of computers, makes it a tempting file to put all sorts of malware into. Which is a bad thing, of course. On the bright side, I've yet to hear of something to do exactly such a thing, on the other side, we might not hear about it until it is too late.

So what do we do about it?
Well, if you're all hyped-up about windows 10, you'll probably be safe since you'll likely be downgrading to it at launch (set for 29 july). If you are like me and want to keep using your windows 7/8 platform for as long as possible, it might cause problems later on (other than just being plain annoying).

Solution: Uninstall the the microsoft update that added it, which is KB3035583.
"That great Oni, but I have no idea how to do that."
Well, fortunately for you, people have already made excellent walkthrough guides to walk you through the process.

Doubt that sudeo would do much about this site, let alone implement new features.

Eh, the usual sort. Folk music/dance. Andro, altra volta, ungaresca, tag sägen ulv en rav en hare, valse sauteuse de rett, den bastaerd, waltz of bizet, there were nine soldiers, le rossignol, branle of petrus josephus van belle, la maître de la maison, etc. Along with some more modern works like Conquest of Paradise, Shun/Madoka (Rozen Maiden), and a few works by Kajiura Yuki.

Anyhow, one of the most awesome musical instruments.

Still against it, since now you're suggesting setting up an apartheid against europeans. So I will have no part in that.

Anywhere between 8PM and 10PM.
Because, you know, people got lives and have to go to bed early enough so they can go to work the following day.

The times you listed for the poll are all biased in favour of non-europeans.

tl;dr

Some simple reasons:
1: Time involved using any method that doesn't encounter any of the following problems.
2: Exponentially increasing energy demands to reach sufficient acceleration. A problem even with consistant 1G acceleration.
3: Gravetic effects from the required acceleration pulping the crew. Some methods could be used to lessen or negate those effects, but there's likely still an upper limit to what could be done in that department. (Like with Event Horizon, the crew has to enter liquid tanks to avoid having their bodies pulped by the 30G acceleration that the ship is going to make. And the ship still takes some 50 or 60 days to travel between Neptune and Earth.)
4: Gravetic effects from the required acceleration being far in excess of the tensile strength of the materials involved (e.g. ship tearing itself apart). If we can't do ∞ space elevators ∞, there's no way we could possibly do near-light speeds without taking ages to reach it.
