Hey Pseudo, it's been a long time since I don't comment here...
I would like to say that I am Super Duper Excited with the return of MARDEK, and also like most changes that you're doing, like trying to give more verosimilitude and importance to the characters, how you are rethinking the history, also I think we can adapt to a series of smaller games. Although we're gonna miss the big, non-linear history of MARDEK 3, please make some game in this model way there in the future.
However, and this comes from a player who has always cheered for you and your games, never wrote any hate comment, always tried to speak when it was my place (sorry, don't know if the sintax is correct), since I see that you're still sort of in the planning stage, I would like to make a plead: Please, Don't Scrap The Elements System! I believe it is a beautiful system for battle, magic, creation, philosophy... and I'm sure many players agree with me, there is a reason why it's been around for so long in RPG worlds, and also for you to have worked with it for so long. Don't get me wrong, I'm really interested in the Sentiments System, I think it's innovative, interesting, makes sense, I look forward to see it in your games; but I get the feeling that you intend to abandon completely the Elements System, so, please don't do this, specially on MARDEK series! MARDEK is too much of a winning team to be the one that inaugurates the Sentiments. I did feel interested with the idea of having each element influencing a certain sentiment, though, seems like a nice way to conciliate both principles o_O...
Please consider this.
Kind regards,
Celso

Hello Pseudo, haven't commented anything in a long time... I love your drawings, they're developing superbly, the caricature factor was kind of missing in early avatars, now they can match your sense of humour in the Mardek games. Also the personalities, with their importance, are more transparent.
In the other side, I do share the opinion with others that the cartoon factor went a little too much. Not in every character of course, I loved Meraeador, and Steele, and Vehrn, being less 'jerk' than in version 2012, more 'silly heroism' (at least I think that's your goal). Now, I didn't like so much others, like Emela, which does have a constant sadness and lonelyness, but has learnt to hide that feelings with a neutral expression and behavior, like an english of sorts, like we learn in MARDEK3. Or Deugan, which should be more heroic and good, although serious and intense, or Zach - maybe your concept of him changed, but I think you should reconsider using the long face and other attributes of sub-Saharian Africans - or Sharla - I don't see that sweet googly eyes going for battle.
In other topic, it now appears to be a good time to decide if you're going to keep the default face anatomies for the avatars, so you can put expressions of happy, sad, angry, scared, etc., or a constant general expression, like Craig Stern's "Telepath RPG: Servants of God".
Love your work Pseudo, please release one of your games again :)

Due to such quote, I can only guess that the meaning of the braid (thanks Amazia) is left to find out while playing the game o_O

How interesting... was it on purpose that you made Zaffre left-handed and Cerise right-handed, Pseudo? Will this reflect on their personalities? Doesn't look like that at first glance, since Zaffre seems a cold type and Cerise a carefree type.
Also I'm very curious about Zaffre's 'blue hair thing' (couldn't define it); would it be a cultural trait?

I don't know to what that list on the post is related! Its doesn't seem to describe the deviantart link or the in-post portraits... What would it be, Pseudo?

Actually man, when we 'listen' to the Elwyen Dreamstone, we learn that Mardek doesn't live with much quality,
and we could add eating in it, since he's a hardcore traveler...
The neck is surely long, though that's not an anomaly.

Nice work with the drawings! I related them to the game characters right away, even personality!
It's interesting how Zach looks just like an African warrior with cold and hardened personality, much more than the game avatar.

Pseudolonewolf, have you tried to take your mind off the composing, doing the boring graphic and balancing stuff? It's very good to rest the mind of something and then come back, even by doing boring and/or hard tasks, since the ideas and learnings mature in the subconscience. A lot of people say that, and it happened some times to me. It is also good to think often and vaguely about the issue, though, to help the 'maturing'.

By the way, I come from the old site and just got a grip to make the new account, which was pleasantly quick, thanks for that; I'm not some random fella longing for some nice trolling :P

This thought has ocurred to me some time ago, but nobody seems to point it out, so:
You say you don't have any friends, but what about your girlfriend? Aren't girlfriends supposed to be friends plus the sensual factor? Wouldn't she be a swell candidate to help you out of your disorder, even from far away, or during the times you're together?
I know you probably have already thought something of it, I just wanted to know why, when the social subject comes along, you don't mention her?
