About Me

Hello, hello, and welcome to the wonderful world of Fighunter!

You may see me say this in my long time here on this new site here because I will probably be here for a long time!

It's been quite a while since I've had to edit a bio at all (about 6 months) and even longer since I've had to completely rewrite it (probably about my entire time on the other site (about 2 years!)).

4-1-12: It's April Fools Day! I just thought I'd write something about this somewhere so I could remember it. Apparently for Pseudo's April Fools prank, he decided it would be a good idea to change everybody's username to something else. And now my username implies I am Spock's brother.

My time here on Fighunter will be long and fruitful and I have three hopes about how this site will turn out:
1) I hope to meet all of my friends from the old site. [COMPLETE]
2) I hope to make some new friends. [COMPLETE]
3) I hope that Pseudo will keep to his word and regularly update his blog unlike the last site. [COMPLETE]

Now, here, I'm going to do something I probably should've done a long time ago... my reasoning for everything in my profile! Let's begin, shall we?

First, there's my interests. As of 12-22-11, they are as follows:
Assassin's Creed (Series)
Games with Story

Now, my reasons for liking Assassin's Creed is that it's violent, story-driven, having good graphics and sound, being very well-thought out, etc. etc.

My reasons for liking games with story are that they aren't completely mindless killing like Call of Duty or Halo or something. Well, then again, Halo does have a storyline, but people don't really care that much about it. it also gives me something to play for, and if you look at it from a developer's point of view, it's extremely fun to write and make and it probably makes a lot of money if you decide to market it.

My reasons for liking Minecraft is because it requires creativity in the extreme. I like the fact that you can say, "I don't like how this looks, I'm going to change it." And it's pretty cool how you can shape your environment and create your own feelings for the game. And, you can make pretty cool adventure maps, too, which can have your own distinct feelings for the game molded in and inflect how you perceive the game on other people.

I like Christmas because it's the time of year when I get a bunch of presents from people I hardly know because I haven't seen them in 8 years.

I like Eddsworld because he's funny.

I like Tobuscus because he's funny and he and I share the same sense of humor.

I like YouTube because it's where I can find all of my favorite people to watch. And it's also probably going to be my road to fame. If I ever get one.

And now, I'll also go over just a few of my dislikes. As of 12-18-11, they are as follows:

My reasons for not liking school is because it prevents me from being here and playing video games. Simple, right?

My reasons for not liking spinach is because it tastes bad.

My reasons for not liking steak is because the flavor isn't particularly good, and I literally find it difficult to get it down my throat because of the... texture, I guess. Maybe that's not it, but that' the best way to describe it. I don't know. Maybe it's just the atomic structure.

I don't like trolls because of obvious reasons.

Alright, now we'll go over my ten (more like two)words that describe me. As of 12-18-11, they are as follows:

My reasons for saying I'm intelligent is because I was originally admitted into the Gifted program when I was Kindergarten, I skipped second grade, I was in the IB Honors program in sixth grade, I was admitted into Algebra for this year, and I have all A's and B's on my Report Cards/Progress Reports. I think that pretty much sums it up.

My reasons for saying I'm handsome is because people have told me so. I don't really see it, but apparently I am, so I guess that sort of describes me.

Looking at the comments section of other peoples' profiles and seeing how many comments they have, and then looking back at my own profile and seeing that I'm the only person posting anything there makes me fell some form of jealously. It's a small one at that, but it's definitely there. There's not much logic in it, though. What do I care? It's just more mail to sift through in my inbox.

But then again, it makes me fell lonely when I think about it. The only discussions I take part in are ones that I start with other people. I don't think that in the history of this site that I've actually had someone directly start a conversation with me.

I shall start a conversation with you, if you want me to! I hate loneliness! Loneliness makes people sad! I don't like sadness either! We just need a topic! Correct? So what shall our topic be, then?

Oh, yes! Hooray! Finally someone starts a conversation with me! I feel less lonely now! I thank you good sir, for you have helped me in ways you cannot imagine! And just for that, I will give you a positive "F" rating, for that is exactly what your reward would normally be anyhow!

And there's our topic! How about we discuss the delicacies of the rating system, hm?

Notice: Undefined index: FID in /home4/yalort/public_html/charcoal/code/common.php on line 11
Oh yay! Hooray! I have started a conversation with you! I made you less lonely! You are welcome, and thank you for the very generous award, and making my orb mauve again!

As in good delicacies? Myes. I like how it is specific, you can give ratings without being biased, and is harder to troll with the ratings. However, those are two of the inconsistencies of the rating system! (The troll thing being a pure delicacy.) I have to think about if it pleased/displeased me, is well-written/badly written, vice versa, and you can't be biased with the rating! I liked the orb rating system better. You could be simple, and get it done over with quickly. Like just as of now, I rated your post with a positive I rating, yet 45% of it is UNinteresting! (No offense!) In this case, I would have to use the negative G rating, but that would be biased, as it does not deserve to be degraded in such a way! With the orb rating system, I could have easily rated your post with a brown orb, and get it over with. <:(

Even though I have substantially increased your rating to a mauve, it seems as though you are still considered to have a negative rating in all regards.

Well, I'm just going to talk about how I see each of the aspects of the rating system. For the "F" aspect, I usually give it a positive rating if it was encouraging or made me laugh. I would give it a negative rating if it was trolling or flaming someone explicitly. For the "L" aspect, I would give it a positive rating if all the words were spelled correctly, the words were elegantly weaved, and the topic overall was very persuasive. I would give it a negative rating if someone wrote something along the lines of ,"i cn ttly splel an writ othr stuf corektlee". As for the "I" rating, I would give it a positive rating if it introduced a good idea, thus is one of the ratings I use most often. I don't recall ever establishing a standard for that rating. As for the "G" aspect, I think that's more along the lines of the "F" and the "G" aspects combined, so probably not a whole lot to explain there. As the "S" aspect, that is more of a matter of personal opinion based upon the specific post's contents.

Wow! This has probably turned into quite a wall of text, now hasn't it? I don't really know for sure because I haven't actually posted it yet... But I'm about to!

Notice: Undefined index: FID in /home4/yalort/public_html/charcoal/code/common.php on line 11
I know. But it's a higher rating than brown, isn't it?

I know about all the aspects. I'm not saying I don't know how the aspects WORK, I am simply saying that it all seems complicated to me. Not as in I don't know what the aspects mean.

Nah, I wouldn't say wall of text, I'd say... Text fence!

But as of now, you have posted it.

True that, true that.

I'm not saying you don't know them, I was just explaining what each of them mean to me and my criteria for them.

Nah, I'd say text wall.

Indeed I have. Indeed I have...

Notice: Undefined index: FID in /home4/yalort/public_html/charcoal/code/common.php on line 11
Ah. That makes more sense, I suppose...

No, a text wall would be like this:
  Spoiler for actual text wall:

A funny thing is I almost always put the slash (the /) at the end of the word, not the front of it.

Indeed you have. Indeed you have...

Sorry it took me so long to reply to this! I have been sort of holding out on responding to my Fighunter messages lately...

But anyways! I think the text wall would be more like what I wrote in the post before yours before mine before yours.

I have no idea when we were talking about slashes, but maybe I'm just not with the topic.

Okay. I have.

You know, I just realized I should probably say something about the fact that I have a blue orb now as my overall rating!
There, I just said something about it.

I need to test spoilers here...

Ah! It worked!
