In Ten Words...
About MeWell, hello, interested person!
...It might be a good thing that you stumbled upon this if you want to know me, because my gender is wrongly set. I'm sure this might be annoying for some, and likewise I must not be the only one with that problem. But I can't change it, so it'll stay like this.
Anyways. My name is Marcos, Cohen Marcos. But, despite what my last name may imply, I have no relationships with any Jewish community. In fact, my family was excluded from the Jewish branches of the family a few generations ago. But who cares, right?
I've lived in Buenos Aires for most of my childhood -which I can still call life, I guess- save for a few exceptional years. A single one year in the south of Argentina, in a medium-sized, snowy island, when I was ten; and this year and a half I've spent in Paris.
I must say that this year is the only one I've been able to break my "shell" in, and gotten out of my secluded life and met new people. France has a rather convenient system for welcoming foreigners into their educational system: "Welcome Classes", they call them, for foreigners to learn the basics of the language, and general cultural basis that every bratty, pretentious french kid already has. I met all of my best friends in that class.
Alas, time to go back to my usual, boring life has come. Going back to that city, where everybody is a party freak, where not liking dancing or hanging out with douches is a sign of "lameness" and you are as such ruled out as a loser. Back to all of those awkward social interactions I always hated, to those unpleasant memories of shunning, because I played Yu-Gi-Oh! or something.
Back into the machine, essentially.
