*Strange talents: None
First and foremost, I am a human male. I was born in the Soviet Union before its collapse, in 1988, which makes me twenty-three years old. I graduated the computer engineering program at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
I am interested in hardware design and network architecture. I spend some of my time pursuing security as a hobby. This includes both physical security (lock and key) and digital security (password and encryption).
Outside of the world of computers, I have a deep interest in philosophical topics, centering on religion and mythology, that I have cultivated since my childhood.
I enjoy fitness and athletics — this is probably my biggest passion. I was a competitive swimmer for two years. I practiced the fighting art of Muay Thai for one year (still learning). I have been an active bodybuilder for six years. I am slightly obsessive — almost to a fault — about nutrition and fitness. As a result, I have taught myself a significant amount of knowledge about these subjects.
I love argument and rational discourse. I was the captain of my high school debate team for two years, and a member for four years. I enjoy talking logically and rationally with other capable thinkers.
To bring this bio to an end, I would like to state that I am fascinated with the world and with learning as much about it as possible.
