I just made an identical thread on AF, and I know both sites are pretty much dead, but, here is my question in case someone has the answer.

I've recently been having a delve into the old Fig Hunter site, playing some of the abandoned games that I'd never bothered with before (Beast Signer, Miasmon, Deliverance).

Then, after some more delving, I came across two of Pseudo's even earlier games.

The Rise of Yalortism: ∞ LINK ∞

And whatever this is: ∞ LINK ∞

Can anyone tell me what game this is? Is it the original Fig Hunter? I don't think it is.

Although, if anyone has a link for Fig Hunter, or indeed any other 'lost' Pseudolonewolf games , please share it. I'm looking to play everything that Pseudo has ever made available.

Also, from poking around the Wiki, there's this thing called The Adventures of Lone Wolf? Could anyone tell me what it is, or where to find it?

Thanks in advance.

Wow, I haven't seen that second one in a while. It's not the original Fig Hunter - I'm not totally sure *what* it is, to be honest. If I remember correctly, it was like an early Deliverance engine prototype or something, that I found on some decaying page back in The Catechisms of YALORT.

Actually, Tobias had a blog about it here: ∞ Fig Hunter ∞

Based on his description, it's just kind of another game he made a while ago. Not too exciting, but it's at least something.

The REAL question is: Have you found LONEWOLFGAME? I think I still have a file of it on an older computer, and it's certainly something. It's not on FH or Catechisms of YALORT as far as I know (not that you'd really be able to navigate the latter anymore with how much the code doesn't work), but it was on an old, old site from something like 2003, which I can't even remember how to access anymore. If you find it, please let me know - I've been really curious, but I can't remember in the slightest how I got to it.

Back in Ye Olde Dayyes, I remember this old stuff hidden in the depths of the Fig Hunter archives was all hushed up, which was kind of sad, because there's some good stuff in there. It certainly gives this odd air of mystique to what would otherwise probably be fairly mediocre games overall, and makes finding them kind of enticing. I guess the whole 'one does not talk about these games' thing is gone now, though, now that this site is basically dead.

Another "hidden" game: Fig Hunter Online! I love this thing to pieces and I'm so sad Pseudo didn't work on it more. It's like 15-20 minutes long, and it's not really that hard to find if you look through the old archive. Link: ∞ Fig Hunter ∞

Sweet, nice to see someone else here! And yeah I didn't think it was Fig Hunter; from what I've read its graphics were similar to the Rise of Yalortism. I would love to find it though, if it's possible.

Thanks for linking that blog post! That cleared it up; it's just one of several early RPG projects that never really took off. Crazy to think that Pseudo must have had countless RPG projects before Deliverance and MARDEK, many of which we'll probably never even know about.

LONEWOLFGAME? Never even heard of it. I've heard of The Adventures of Lone Wolf, though I believe that's possibly a book/story that Pseudo started writing back in 2004ish? Or I may be mistaken.

And thanks for linking Fig Hunter Online! I knew that Pseudo worked on it somewhat, but I never knew it got to a point where it was somewhat playable. That could have been special.

I found those on archive.org. I found LONEWOLFGAME as well, it's an executable but I can't find where I saved it. I remember I couldn't get it to work for some reason, but there were some strings embedded in it and some weird prophetic shit with Michael Jackson. It's out there somewhere.

edit: here it is: ∞ LINK ∞

Oh damn, it actually works.
