Welcome, sirs and madames!

This place is totally a museum of what fighunter.com used to look like, and who were popular before. We have screenshot exhibits of the chat when there were still avatars showing with each message, profile pages, and even legendary forum posts! We also have bonus exhibits featuring legendary members who once walked the ancient halls of the Fighunter forum. We hope you enjoy your visit to the Old Fighunter Museum!

∞ THE CHAT OF OLD ∞
People may be wondering what the chat on the old site used to look like, or wonder whether the members who tell of a time when avatars showed on chat were lying. Well, here are screenshots that settle the argument once and for all, we hope!

This screenshot shows a typical conversation on the old site. Notice the tiny text on the upper left of the text boxes? I don't know what most of them mean! However, I think the rightmost number shows the time, and the numbers before that show the IP address of the poster.

This image is a truly legendary relic. It captures the time where Pseudo unforgettably declared rs111 to be... well, view the screenshot to see for yourself! Remember that you are bearing witness to a historic moment frozen in time!

The general look of the whispers didn't change so much from how it looked like before. This shows a conversation between myself and another member who I swear thinks I'm an evil twin of some sort.

This is quite possibly the oldest screenshot I have. The latest game Pseudo released that time was still MARDEK 2, and people then were still waiting on Pseudo to release MARDEK 3, while he started, abandoned, and released other games before actually finishing MARDEK 3.

These were from the time Pseudo was messing around with the orbs, and it did provide quite a boost in the activity and interest on chat. We do hope he does more things like these to keep us entertained while waiting for his games.

When Pseudo got tired of messing around the orbs, he then proceeded to mess around with the names. Enjoy~

This one is quite interesting! Pseudo talked a few months ago about releasing the new site. It seems that he's able to meet a deadline for once. This certainly brings up our prospects of Pseudo finishing more games on time!

∞ THE FORUM OF OLD ∞
I wasn't able to find many screenshots here as I only stored images in my computer when necessary. We apologize for the inconvenience.

This one isn't so old, but at least it still has the red exclamation mark at the upper right. That button was used before to give violations to posts that broke the rules. Now, we have FIGLS, which is based more on feeling than quality. By the way, this isn't to call out or offend anyone. This really is one of the few forum screenshots I had.

This was from the time Pseudo was messing with the names, but I guess the look of the forum post will be gone too once the old site is replaced with this one.

I used to make polls very very manually then. Before the feature that allowed us to create automatic and worry-free polls, I basically received all the votes by post, comment, chat, or PM. After that, I summarized it in an Excel file and then updated the post to reflect the votes. Pity people never really appreciated all the work I put into that.

∞ USER PAGES OF OLD ∞
I managed to salvage a few screenshots of what the user pages looked like from the ruins of the old site. Now they are on display for your viewing pleasure!

Notice a biggish green number on some pages. These show a person's HP. HP used to reflect how much each member contributed before. New members started with 30 HP, and people gained HP by getting likes and making long posts. That is why long posts were the fashionable thing to do before. Pseudo tired of long posts, however. Slowly, he leans more to subjective measurement of the worth of contributions.

So uh, are you quite tired of looking at the images yet? Well you can't really answer so here are some more!

∞ ADD TO OUR EXHIBITS! ∞
As you may or may not have noticed, our exhibits are rather limited at the moment. We need YOUR help to grow our museum! If you have screenshots of what the old site looked like, they would be very much welcome on this thread. Just upload it on ∞ imgur ∞ or a similar place. After that, you can link the image in a post and then give a brief description of what it is!

You can also contribute by telling stories of what the old site used to be like, who the popular members were before, and how things before compare to how they are now. As long as they give insight into factual things about the old site, they are welcome!

I think you may see this faster than some others because it will count as a message, but I don't know...

Anyway, several of your links are broken. In fact, pretty much every link that doesn't say [image]. Just wanted to inform you; maybe you could fix this? It would make the museum much more 'memorable'.

Maybe it's rude of me to answer instead of the custodian of this museum, but there is just one link meant as a link that leads to an invalid page (the one at the bottom) The other ones are just empty URLs meant for fancy headlining.

(And so you know: Every post made in a thread counts as a message for the one who started the thread)

Thank you for informing me. I really had no idea.

And I now remember that about the message for the starter thread. I feel really stupid now. Really stupid.

Holy YALORT, I expected I'd be in there somewhere, since I did make a tonne of posts and such, but I didn't expect it to be... well... *that* post. Ah well, I understand the lack of screenshots, and I recall when you linked me to that image before, thinking I was going to try to edit it.

Anyway, I might as well mention some small things. There was the time, though I lack screenshots, where Pseudo censored "God" with "Mbombo the White Giant" or "Santa Claus", and that actually got a religious person angry when he thought someone was insulting his god by calling him Mbombo. o_O Of course, let's not forget the April fools kittehs Pseudo made: ∞ LINK ∞ (No images. Sorry.) Finally, the one thing I do have an image for was in 2010 or 2011 when someone decided to hack the site and give everyone a new avatar: ∞ LINK ∞ I saved it because I rather liked it. I think that's quite lovely, and certainly worth memory.

Oh, this is a much smaller thing, but one that might be interesting to add... I believe this to be the single most rated comment in the site's history: ∞ Fig Hunter ∞ and as you can see, it was fairly controversial too.

Also, speaking of controversial, I won't even link, but if you should chose to add it, that "At what age did you start masturbating?" poll might be one to add, since it was... historical. I think after that Pseudo got into a big sex-talk thing for a while, and I know people *still* talk about that poll.(It's only 7 months old, but poll 137 really did get a lot of people going.)

Wow. That was quite a museum, surprisingly took when most people still went on the old site! It's almost as if you predicted that this museum would come into being... Anyway, when I can, I will add to this by getting images of the old site of the present, barely being updated!

CTG, the link at the end, to the comment on the old site... It has been broken, unfortunately, as the old site (as I'm sure you noticed) was moved to the archive subdomain of fighunter.com.

This appears to be the most clumsy comment that I have ever written.

(Regarding the broken link in the end of CtG's post, this one here is a fixed version: ∞ Fig Hunter ∞ )

And now, to my submission to this fine museum of significant importancy.
I have yet another picture of the site when Pseudo was messing around with it, certainly hoping that he would get away with it, but alas, his exploits were recorded.

Here is the incriminating picture: ∞ LINK ∞

The thing which is off with that picture might take a short moment to find. So I let you have the pleasure of discovery, and I shall write the explanation in a spoiler.

  Spoiler for the picture:

I found the chat images most entertaining! That actually gives the members so much to talk about. (For example how inappropriately titled some members were! ... Scandalous.) Ahem, any who, I propose Pseudo do that sometime if he hasn't already. It would convince me to join the chat more often as I have rarely join the chat. I also feel enthralled to bear witness to the HP system. I’ve always wanted to see how it looked like..

So uh, I thought I might revive this old thing because it's probably been long enough that there'd be many members who haven't seen it yet, but would find it interesting nonetheless. :B

Now if only I could edit old posts...

Hmm... I don't have much to contribute (unfortunately!), but I do have one screenshot.

This is immediately after Pseudo re-designed the website to a darker color scheme after Sunlit (just today or yesterday). There are/were a couple issues with the site at first, including, but not limited to, chat entry messages appearing in PMs: ∞ LINK ∞
