I have trepidation about you making such a fundamental change to MARDEK, but that fear might just be because I'd hate to see the MARDEK I played so long ago turn into something else. Even though the plot has probably been changed a million times, it just scares me to realize that the developer is openly changing the plot. I guess as a consumer I think of MARDEK's plot as finished and just wait for each iteration to see another part of it. MARDEK just seems like it would work better with a Kickstarter than Patreon. I'm probably worrying about nothing, but it just seems really odd for something like MARDEK to get released bit by bit.

Just to people who don't know, Pseudo regularly writes updates on Alora Fane, just not Fig Hunter recently. If you want to stay in the loop, I would recommend you going there o_O.

I'm thrilled that you're thinking about MARDEK 4, as MARDEK is one of my favorite RPG series of all time (and I've played damn near every popular RPG series under the sun), and I hope you can capture the inspiration that led to the earlier entries :)

Just sort of a PSA, but there's a new Miasmon update on Alora Fane (from this week, not last) if you click the link in this blog post :)

More people than I expected in public know about Myers-Briggs. The other day I was at my school's Pokemon Club meeting and we had a spontaneous 30-minute discussion about Myers-Briggs and almost everyone knew their type and what it meant. I was really surprised!

Good luck with DreamQuest, or Alora Fane: Creation (I prefer the latter name!) or whatever you decide o call it. The points the professor made about gamers MBTI definitely applies to me: I'm INTJ and an Explorer through and through.

Also, I'm picking up Pokemon X today. If you'd like to exchange FCs or something, that would be cool! :)

I definitely like the art! Although I'm not an art expert and really can't see what makes it work, the facial expressions are very telling and the comics were fun to read! :D

My favorite panel is the second panel on the first comic simply for the introverted girl's facial expression. Looks...sassy :)

Although this is just a prediction, I believe this story will end with Blue Horse Dude and Introverted Girl slaying zombies together. It just seems like a logical next chapter.

I think MARDEK 4 will definitely be released at one point. MARDEK is what Pseudolonewolf is known for as a developer and it's really the only successful game series he's developed besides Raider (which can barely be classified as a series, as it's only two games long). MARDEK is, in my opinion, the best free RPG that exists today and I assume Pseudo knows that. Although MARDEK 3 was horrible for Pseudo mentally as he had to deal with a rather huge, ravenous fanbase and massive pressure to release the game (plus feature creep, which delayed the game for over a year and all that), Pseudo has warmed up to beginning work on MARDEK 4. My prediction is that Pseudo's next project will end up being MARDEK 4, and that he will apply the lessons he learned from MARDEK 3 to complete the next game more efficiently.

MARDEK 3 was an absolute masterpiece, obviously, but it's also larger than every game Pseudo has released put together. Pseudo has stated that MARDEK 4 will be smaller than MARDEK 3, but longer than the second installment in the series. However, I doubt Pseudo will allow MARDEK 4 to succumb to feature creep because of the mental anguish of MARDEK 3, so I believe that M4 will take a lot less time to develop.

Still, MARDEK 4 will be a large, difficult game, and there will probably be some unforeseen delays. My prediction for a release is early-to-mid 2015, though that's a bit idealistic.

In the first situation, I would consider the man a hero and accept his offer and not press the button.

In the second situation, I would wait until the last possible second to press the button to test this man's honesty. I would press the button at the last second, however, as there is no point in two lives being lost when only one has to. If this man is serious about refusing to not press the button, then I would die no matter what as the only way I can live is if he presses his button. However, if he's bluffing then he would have to deal with the pressure of making two people die since I'm waiting until 29:59:59 to lower my finger.

Assuming the guidelines in the topic, only I would live in the first situation and only he would live in the second.

Economic Left/Right: 3.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.31

I got Libertarian Right, exactly where I expected. I didn't expect for my position to be so close to 0 on Libertarian/Authoritarian, I expected a number closer to 6 or 7. The questions were a little vague, especially the more philosophical ones such as parental discipline and religious values.

I hope people look at the image of current world leaders, especially Barack Obama who's not a liberal at all. He's much more authoritarian than he lets on, especially when you realize that he supports targeted assassinations of American citizens without charge or trial. So does Romney. Another thing that's interesting is that a vast majority of world leaders are right-wing authoritarians, and that there are no conservative libertarians in power right now. At least not many. It's also hilarious to see Obama and Romney so close to each other, yet people think this election will actually matter and that one's a 'liberal' and the other is a 'conservative'.

Barack Obama has lied consistently throughout his presidency about operations like his drone program, and has no respect for Congress, the primary branch of the government. Some of the partisan gridlock, a major problem in the Congress today, is Obama's fault because he disrespects the Congress and rules through executive order. Republicans will not compromise with Obama and vice versa, and Obama's presidency has been an abject failure in my opinion. Though I cannot say for certain that he's failed as a president (it will be years before Americans can come to a consensus on his presidency), I couldn't imagine Obama's presidency being viewed as successful.

Romney is corrupt beyond all hope. He panders like a traditional politician, and treats his party very rudely. He completely screwed his fellow Republicans, most notably Dr. Ron Paul (of course, the media doesn't talk about Romney and the Republican rules committee changing the rules the day before the convention to deny Paul a speaking role that he rightfully earned), and if Romney would disrespect his party affiliates so rudely I would hate to see what he would do to his cohorts in Congress. Romney also agrees with Obama on the most important issues such as foreign policy and the deficit, yet chooses to talk about Big Bird in the debates as if that has anything to do with the deficit.

Both major candidates treat their fellow politicians with such enormous disrespect that I could never vote for either of them. I would definitely vote third party if I were old enough (alas, I do not turn 18 until after the election), as I would like to exercise my right to vote while not voting for the corrupt major candidates. I would probably vote for Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party candidate, as he advocates REAL deficit reduction and a non-interventionist foreign policy. Johnson isn't perfect, and I definitely disagree with Johnson on some issues such as abortion, but in a time of crisis for America we need to push social issues aside and focus on the economy, the deficit, and foreign policy. Johnson advocates fewer government regulations, would destroy the deficit (in a good way!), and advocates ending the wars. Libertarian Party for me.
