Clarence RPG

The RPG sequel to Clarence's Big Chance which absolutely nobody was asking for!!1

Clarence is married to the woman he charmed on his first and only date, but she's beginning to realise what a mistake she's made. She becomes smitten with another, nicer man named Ernest Love, and Clarence must do what it takes to win her back from him, with the help of a silly cast of allies!

The battle system uses emotions and moods rather than violence; rather than slashing monsters or setting them on fire, you'd smile, flirt, offend and ogle your way through all the people you come across who insist on engaging in awkward small talk with you!

I wonder how the status effects work? Is must be rather difficult to replace the standard ones.

I would assume they would trigger some sort of constant emotional reaction like depression, which would constantly drain your HP perhaps. or raging, I assume you can guess what that would be like.

The screenshot of the overworld shows Clarence, his wife, and a Thug waiting for them. I wonder if this means that there are no random battles as enemies are on the overworld now.

Then again, it could be that the Thug is just there as a "tutorial battle" or something like that.

Speaking of which, I wonder if any other enemies from CBC would appear in this game.

I'm curious how the dog would attack, i mean, it's not sentient, it's a dumb animal. >.>

Dogs can have heavy impacts on normal social interactions with strangers. When I am standing in my lift and the old womean with her three, no two, one got old and died, dogs enters, then awkward social interactions are bound to happen. When one dog sniffs my shoe and then licks it. When the, by now dead, old dog just plumped himself on the ground and landed with his tailbone directly on my foot. Just when they ogle me and I somehow suspect they want something from me. When you don't know if it is appropriate to try to ruffle his ears, I don't know, some people do that with every dog they see, some people expect that when you engage in conversation with a dog holder you are to somehow pay attention to the dog.

You see, dumb animals can have a great potential for evoking awkward feelings and such. But I too, am curious how that shows in the game.
