Hello dear Figs. I am a new Minecrafter, or Minecraftite, or what have you. And I was wondering if any of you frequent the great xbox version of this joyful game. If so, I would love to collect your gamer tags as I want more people to play with. :)

Uh, so I've set up a Survival Hostile thing from Vechs on my server (The seventh one). Let's all do it co-op and not kill each other, okay?

Ask me to whitelist you if you want in, and you can enter whenever you like to adventure!1!!

Indeed? Would you allow the misspelled one to be whitelisted to your server, because I'm such an entertaining person and such. Uhh...Also the IP would be good too. .-.

God, Minecraft... Where to start, the one game that has, no limit, where you go where you want to go, and no one can tell you what to do. It has won BAFTA once this year, it has 3,000,000 likes on Facebook , and has had people everywhere saying,"Just one more Block". Yes, Minecraft, the game of every time-wasting person you can name.

I would totally play it at times other than with a light version on my friend's iPad if only it could play on laptops (hint to developer).
Urgh...

Minecraft... I found this game from a person I knew once (rather general, isn't it?). From there, I searched "Minecraft Adventure" on Youtube, and that's how I found the famed CaptainSparklez (who has an awesome Taio Cruz parody), ChimneySwift11, LuclinMCWB, etc. Minecraft has opened my eyes to many new games as well, like Terraria and Toribash.
My favorite things in Minecraft are the Jungle mods, Survival mode, and zombie sieges (implemented in, i think, 1.1). However, I am about making a server (if that's possible), and building a massive city.
Although I haven't gotten Minecraft yet, I want to get it soon.
Thank you, Minecraft, for showing me new games, awesome people, and also for just being *EPIC*.

Ah, Minecraft. A great game to play if you have plenty of free time! But also awful if you don't, because it's difficult to stop playing it! Oh dear.

I prefer to play Survival, and I use a ridiculous amount of mods. (Usually.) I once had over 30 at once! But not those stupid cheat mods! Oh how I hate those things, and all the people who use them! Especially people who use hacks on multiplayer. If you can't find ores without using X-ray, or some other pitiful hack, then I feel awfully sorry for you, and suggest you move onto other things, or maybe try playing the game properly for once! Gasp!

I remember when I first started playing Minecraft, though. And I can remember why I originally didn't like it, too. Mostly due to the graphics. Which, I cannot say that they aren't terrible, because they truly are. But despite the fact that I don't like the graphics, I cannot stand texture packs. They ruin the game, and almost every texture pack I've seen is, in my opinion, just awful. Because I don't like the poor resolution of Minecraft's graphics, and my hate towards texture packs, it makes sense that the only Texture Pack I use is Faithful 32x. (And I will use Faithful 64x when it is completed.) I think Jolicraft is way overrated. I think it's ugly, and most of the textures just aren't appealing in any way.

I first started playing during 1.7.3, and yet in the short time I've been playing the game, I've already learned a lot more about the game than a lot of people can seem to do in the course of over a year.

But about mods... My favourite mods are generally small mods. And it's fairly obvious that most people don't like small mods, because I always see people commenting on small mods saying 'add more stuff', and other things. One mod I'd definitely recommend, is MuttonCraft. It's a nice small mod, that makes sheep drop lambchops, which can be cooked into Mutton. With the addition in 1.8 of most living creatures dropping food of some sort, I found it weird that they left it that sheep drop only wool, an item that you only ever need 3 of, in the whole game. I am occasionally around on the Minecraft forums.

What I'm trying to say is, it's a pretty good game.

Well, I play minecraft. Of course.

I use a custom-made Jango Fett skin. I also have a Star Wars texture pack in development, though it is available for testing, if anyone wants.

I also am working on a small group of minecraft lego sets, just for fun. They can't be bought, which is too bad -- but they would be insanely expensive.

Other than that, let's see...Oh, yes! I have a bad habit of dying in lava. A really bad habit. (By the way, if your Nether Portal spawns on gravel, make sure there is stuff under the gravel before causing it to re-calculate. Yes.)

I've only played Minecraft for about 2 weeks, but I've found it to be excellent to play. I prefer to play on Survival Singleplayer, as I like to feel as if I've 'earnt' my creations I've made rather than just having infinite resources as in Creative. I enjoy mining (except into lava), and creating. I don't like exploring much, due to my infamous sense of direction and the fact I usually find it rather boring. I don't fight monsters though, and have tried to monster-proof my house as much as possible (using copious amounts of Obsidian and Netherrack). I have never played multiplayer before; I use my friend's account, so I would find it interesting to find a good server. When playing on a PC, I use a heavily customised Painterly pack. My Macintosh, rather annoyingly, blatantly defies every one of my attempts to use ANY of multiple texture packs I've downloaded on it.

I really love playing Minecraft, and sandboxes in general..I honestly enjoy the amount of flexibility I have in building, et cetera.
I use a Red Spy skin, and a custom Painterly texture pack...I really recommend Painterly if you don't have it, as there are a crapton of options for every little thing :D
When I play, I tend to be mostly a miner and builder, as opposed to a fighter. I honestly enjoy building a huge project using materials that I got myself more than killing a crapton of monsters or setting up the perfect autocactus farm, or what have you xD
What's everyone else's play style?

Squee! My favourite game!
I use the enderman skin. I can't play multiplayer, but I sometimes play it with Adriana. I always use te SinglePlayerCommands mod, and the Silverleaf texture pack. I'd recommend even the painterly pack. Also, just recently, I came across the seed -5717856009051934978 . You spawn in the middle of a huge ocean on an island. Dig a few blocks down near the spawn point and you get a stronghold! Take the staircase down and go straight, and you see- A HUGE ravine with water and lava rivers, with a cave intersecting it!!! And, Loads of Diamond, Iron, Coal, Gold, Redstone, and even Lapis Lazuli. I think it's for 1.8.1 though.....
Any good adventure custom maps you people know about?

PS- I had originally posted this here- ∞ Fig Hunter ∞ but then I had to move it here. Just so you know....
